MieruPC - Handmade computer from Tokyo Institute of Technology
It's for educational purposes, scratch from CPU to OS and apps.
CPU is implemented on FPGA(Spartan-3E XC3S250E), supported MIPS32 ISA.
It has 4.3 inch 480x272 LCD, PS/2 for keyboard, and MMC slot.
They have Original OS called "MieruOS" for the device, loaded from FAT on MMC card.
And the price is 56,000 yen. I think it's cheap enough and very good for learning computer architecture.
Newest model, MieruPC-2010 will release the end of this month, I'm seriously considering to purchase it...
#What will I use it for...? Don't know! I think it's cool enough to buy!!
